Monday, July 13th - Friday, July 24th
Ages 9 - 12 // $800 per student
9 AM - 3 PM
Please note that this is a NONREFUNDABLE DEPOSIT ONLY. The balance of $700 will be due two weeks before camp.
It’s 1701 in Port Royale, a center of trading, baking and piracy for all the rats in the Caribbean. A rare virus has appeared and Martha, a rat who runs the best bakery in Port Royale, has it! The vaccine she needs is 10,000 gold coins. To get that kind of money her family will need to sell the bakery. UNLESS they win a pie baking contest! It’s all going according to plan when a group of pirate rats kidnap her family for a high seas adventure. Will they escape the pirates? Will they be in time to enter and win the pie baking competition? Or will the family have to sell the bakery? In this two week production class, campers will memorize their parts and help with set building, costumes and props. The camp will end with three public performances of the show at The Theater Project.
Performances are July 24th and 25th at 6pm and 26th at 2pm. All campers should plan on being available for those shows.
New This Year: an After Hours Option! We are opening up our theater for after camp care. This will be more free play, games/craft based activities.
Cost: $20.00 per day for care from 3 - 5 PM. Limit of 12 spots on a first come, first serve basis. For this option, actors must bring an extra snack. If you cannot afford but need after camp care, please email amanda@theaterproject.com for options and scholarship information.
